Las Vegas wedding reception

I friend of mine just got married. Halfway through the reception she came over to me and told me that she wishes she had taken my advice. “I should have eloped, just like you said,” she whispered and then scurried off to see which child was pulling the tablecloths off of the tables. I was only joking when I had said that to her, but it is something that crossed the mind of every bride as she plans for or is going through her wedding day. No matter how wonderful your day is there is always something that makes you want to pull your hair out. She later came back and said, “A Las Vegas wedding might have been less stressful.”

I agree. I told my husband if I ever get married again, I am doing something like a Las Vegas wedding. He didn’t seem to like my joke, but he understood what I meant. We have been invited to a lot of weddings lately, and after a while being a guest can be just as nerve wracking as being the ones getting married. It often makes you dream of the simplicity of a Las Vegas wedding, or a wedding of that type that is done far from home with just a few present.

When you think of a Las Vegas wedding, you think of drunken couples standing before Elvis reciting vows. Though this does happen, not every wedding chapel is like this. There are many places in Vegas you can get married, and they aren’t all like that. You can have a Las Vegas wedding that is classy and quick, and you don’t have to worry about where to have your reception. On the other hand, if you are really into Elvis, you can find him everywhere, and you can get him to marry you, or perhaps sing during the ceremony.

The cost of a Las Vegas wedding won’t be that much, but you do have to pay to get there. Because most of us chose to take a honeymoon, you can do it right there after your ceremony. If you have people coming, they will have to pay airfare and hotel as well, but the ceremony itself won’t cost you too much. If you are really pressed for time, you can get the ultimate quickly Las Vegas wedding. You simply drive right through. Would you like fries with that?
