Each weekend it seems that we’ve got out of town guests coming for a stay. I love having company and it’s always welcomed when someone calls and asks if they can crash at our house. Having a large extended family has always been a joy and having them come to visit keeps us all so close. It does pose a few challenges though and one of those is keeping the guest linens clean. I recently found a great and affordable solution and that is disposable guest towels. I never want my guests to feel as though their being at my home is in any way an imposition for me. I love feeding them, finding fun things for them to do and encouraging them to make my home, their home. With disposable guest towels, they can use a clean, linen like towel that I can simply throw away after it’s been used. They have no idea that they are using anything other than a regular towel, and I’m keeping everything as sanitary as possible for everyone. The first place I heard about them was through a friend. She had discovered them online and gave me the website that featured the disposable guest towels. After looking them over, I did a quick online search and realized that many vendors were selling them in all types of colors and styles. Our guest bedroom has a guest bath attached. The décor is a light blue so I wanted to find a set of disposable guest towels that would match. I found them on one site and decided to place a small order in case I wasn’t happy with the texture or appearance. They arrived and I have to say I was amazed by the quality. They are made from a very soft paper like material. Something similar to a traditional paper towel, but much thicker and softer; not scratchy or irritating to the skin at all. I put them in the guest bath because we were expecting visitors within the next day. They used the disposable guest towels and even commented on what a pretty color they were. After they left, clean up was a breeze as I just had to toss the towels into the trash, and set out a new set. If you’re skeptical about how they feel and look, I’d suggest purchasing just a few and seeing for yourself. Disposable guest towels would fit well in any home and even if you don’t entertain overnight too often, they can be put out when you are hosting a party or having a few friends over for cocktails. I think they’re great and you’ll always find them in my home now. Other resources
