An elegant buffet decoration. Buffet design should feature attractive, but functional layout

Buffet design is the art of arranging the food, beverages and decorations to be attractive for your guests.

Buffets are usually placed on tables, but you can also make fancy buffets on any surface, from kitchen counter to vertical shelves.

When possible, it is better to organize the buffet with a logical flow. Guests should start with the plates and continue with bread, salads, cold dishes, and finish with hot side entries or dishes. Be sure to provide serving spoons and forks adjacent to each type of food.

You should plan the buffet design only after you have choosen the food and the general decoration or party theme. It is advisable to keep things simple and functional. In particular, make it easy to bring additional food or repair accidental spillages.

The next step is to prepare and organise food presentation with artistic flair and finally add appropriate and attractive decorations.
